We had the most amazing time of our lives! Can't say enough good things about this resort. The grounds were beautiful. The whole place, including our room, was kept spotless. Fabulous food but I do recommend that you eat the Mexican stuff at the buffet, I doubt the pasta or pizza or burgers were anything to write home about. The Mexican food was awesome 👍🏿 One note I think there are some cultural differences when it came to customer service which I noticed some other Americans getting upset about but it didn't bother us. We just took it in stride and figured when in Rome...walk up to someone and ask them specifically for what you need and they are more than happy to help you but standing in their line of vision waiting to be acknowledged or expecting them to guess your wants or needs (as is common in the U.S.) doesn't work there. We learned quickly and the staff was phenomenal. I really wanted to find an owner or manager and tell them how wonderful the whole experience was from start to finish. 10 stars. Will definitely return and will definitely tell all my friends and family!!!!

Every time I visit a business I look at their employees and its common to see them on their cellular. I spent 6 days on this beautiful place and I only sow I employee once on his cell which means nothing. Love the food love the hygiene, humble employees always greeting you with smile. Keeping your room spotless and organized. am planing to take my hole family next year. See you soon Barceló

This resort has been the best! The staff is so courteous and polite, hard working and caring. Even after going through the recent hurricane the staff were quick to clean up the ground and pools, repair structures, etc. Lots of wonderful restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities to entertain the whole family. The pools are beautiful blue, and warm from the sun, but cool you off just as well.

Excellent vacation (1 week). Group of 59; everyone (kids and adults) had a blast. Recommend the all inclusive package. **If you're a beer drinker, you're fine. Now if you prefer mixed drinks, order a double maybe even a triple shot; drinks are pretty weak. Came to a point in which we had to order the liquor shots separately and put it in ourselves to make sure our drinks actually had something in them. "Sorry Barcelo, you failed on that part". Food; if you're craving a local dish or just a hamburger, everything is delicious. To really enjoy your stay, explore the hotel and take advantage of everything your package includes. BTW, don't forget to visit the local community market, and nearby attractions. 4 out of 5 stars due to non-compliance with the adult beverage portion of the all inclusive package agreement.

I love this hotel, and this is the only time I've been out of my nation. Estella was very nice, and I wish her very well, as well as the other attendants. Internet connection was speedy. The beach is in fact the only beach I like, and I love the lemonade there. The buffet was my favorite part. I did not like the Brazilian Restaurant, but the French Restaurant and free food at the buffets were the best (my favorite buffet was La Hacienda). Beautiful view from the lobby of the beach, very sanitary, and I loved swimming with Tsunami and Mincho. I sincerely thank the employees and room service. 100% would recommend for vacation!

El servicio por parte del personal excelente La comida buffet puede mejora Los restaurantes de especialidades rodizio y brassier excelentes Pero al momento de la reserva no comentan que por motivos de pandemica más del 50% del hotel se encuentra cerrado, no hay shows y actividades minimas Prácticamente alberca, comida y habitación

No sé si a los empleados les pagan muy poco y eso hace que tenga una pésima actitud y mala atención al público o es su de por sí. La comida es muy rica y la bebida está bien, pero super 0 en atención al cliente, en total me tope con 5 personas amables en todo el hotel.

habitación muy amplia.pero lejana x no haber transporte como en otro hoteles. Falta más opciones del menú. Falta d animación para participaren Shows, falta más ambiente,t presionan en el chek out. A las 12 o pagarás 20.usd. ..Lo bueno bonito lugarplaya palmeras albercas

This place is amazing. Even if not all services are currently open the place is incredible. Very good care for guests and personel about health security (face mask usage, social distancing, everything is perfect) First time in Barcelo and definitely will be back‼

The place is amazing, the hotel staff and all the people we interacted were really friendly and helpful. There are a few flaws but overall the location, beach, food and amenities are really great. We arrived at a bad weather date and we lost 1 day due to rain, but the beach and sun were great on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th day. Personal recommendation is to visit between end of October through Mid May.

Loved it here! Resort was so big and the staff was so nice. Yasmin Sanchez was a brilliant server!!!! Her partner Roby was so nice too. The room cleaners were so sweet. I wish I could list everyone who was awesome, very well staffed. My friends and I spent spring break here and it’s a beautiful resort we can’t wait to come back! :-)

Sítio muito agradável para se passar umas boas férias, todo o pessoal é de uma simpatia e gentileza fora do comum . Fomos avários restaurantes mas não eram o que esperávamos , o Capri , restaurante Italiano sim !!! muito bom o pessoal muito atencioso , simpático e disponível festejei o meu aniversário lá . Acabamos por fazer os almoços no bufê junto à praia , todo o pessoal super simpático destacando o Alberto e a chefaque infelizmente não me lembro o nome mas realmente muito amáveis, os jantares foram feitos no bufê onde não faltava nada , a simpatia de todo o pessoal era indescritível,não esquecendo o Alexander Domingues que estava sempre atento a que não nos faltasse nada . Conclusão!!! Umas férias maravilhosas, voltaremos com toda a certeza.

First time at the resort. Overall it's a great resort. Friendly staff. Decent food. Beautiful scenery. Room was spacious but very musty smelling due to poor ventilation system. Lots of walking if you choose to. Beautiful water and beach. Would go back again.

Foi excelente, por várias coisas, porque não há motivos para reclamação...As nossas tardes de 15 dias na piscina, se tornaram mais acolhedoras, muito derivado ao brio profissional e exigente trabalho da Irene Sanches,que sempre nos mimou sempre sorrindo. Bem hajas Gigante Irene.

Boa experiência, mas faltou um pouco de atenção do hotel.Me hospedei diretamente no 3o andar,mas o frigobar e a cafeteira não funcionavam. Solicitei manutenção 3 vezes, então me mudaramde quarto. Fui para o térreo. Ao entrar no quarto senti forte odor de mofo, além de um chão estar muito úmido. Depois de reclamar e solicitar uma limpeza mais detalhada o cheiro melhorou. Então pedi ao concierge que a limpeza fosse muito cuidadosa, todos os dias, e que também se colocassem toalhas de rosto e piso, pois não haviam. As toalhas foram colocadas, mas nem todos os dias havia a de piso. Quanto à limpeza, era passado um pano muito porcamente todos os dias. Sei disso porque ficava muito pó embaixodas camas. Um dia meu filho de 1 ano deixou cair um pouco de creme hidratante ao lado do criado mudo e, até o momento que saí, ainda estava lá,mesmo eu retornando diversas vezes e pedindo cuidado especial com a limpeza.Masisso não atrapalhou minhas férias que foram fantásticas. A estrutura do hotel é muito boa, com ótimas atividades, diversas piscinas, as crianças amaram. O pessoal do hotel é muito atencioso e cuidadoso. Destaque para o Ubaldo e Rafael, da recepção, que são extremamente solícitos.As reservas para restaurantes especiais são bem organizadas, mas o atendimento nestes locais deixa a desejar.Você entra, senta e recebe um cardápio. Em 1 minuto o garçom já está te pressionando para pedir a entrada, prato principal e sobremesa,se pedimos um minuto eles dizem que não temos tempo. Isso aconteceu com muita intensidade no Kyoto, Marenostrum e no Santa Fé. Com menos intensidade no Capri e Tratoria. Já no Tókio e no Lá Fuente o atendimento foi excelente.A comida do buffet é bem mais ou menos (muita opção, mas nenhuma caprichada), tanto do tropical quanto no colonial. Já no Beach e Caribe, por serem menores, são muito melhor.
