“Well outside and lobbies are renovated nicely. I was assigned the "executive suite" to share with my friend...twin beds, older sheets looked like we got the old run down Hotel 8 room. However the concierge department was fantastic and their breakfast buffet was totally abundant with anything anyone from any country could want to eat and didn't know they wanted but are it because it all looked delicious! The location....well the underground was steps away, but it had nothing "iconic" within walking distance. Oh by the way, bring wash cloths! Most hotels don't provide "face towels"!”

“Nice hotel, King suite was very nice, although I was confused over the mini bar in my room which was advertised when I made my reservation, to find out it was empty. I called down to reception and was informed if I wanted anything inside the mini bar I can use it for anything I purchase. The fridge wasn't even switched on? False advertisement! The executive lounge for afternoon tea and breakfast was excellent great range of food and drinks on both visits.”

The hotel is well managed, staff is helpful. Some rooms are starting to show signs of age, but are clean. The location is quite convenient, very well communicated to the main train stations via tube.
