Overall had a good stay. The facilities were clean and well kept. The beach has many beds and beach chairs to choose from and it's easy to get a drink from any of the bars. The event nights had good food. Hotel guests were generally respectful at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the concierge system was great for info and bookings. We did feel that the restaurants, however, were mediocre. Perhaps we did not choose the right ones, but all the meals we had at restaurarnts outside the resort were much tastier. Rooms were nice and comfortable overall. However, we did have an issue with our AC that took too long to fix and we discovered too late that some ants had made home in the jacuzzi tub. If all you care about is finding a place to the lay in the sun with a few drinks and get your tan on this is probably a good option.

I booked this resort for my first time in Mexico because of the swim up infinity pool and I’m glad I did. I am amazed at the size of the resort, hospitality, cleanliness, and location near the beach. I highly recommend this resort but if you are coming for a honey moon you should pay the extra to get the upgrade to the top floor. trust me it’s worth it and you get a bit more privacy with better views of the ocean. This is a mix between a party hotel with the swim up bar and a place to relax. Not really suited for total privacy for honeymoon. Would give 5 stars if there were a bit more food options but overall my stay was amazing and I would come back. Make sure when you arrive you plan your dinners with the concierge ahead of time as they fill up quick and if you are here for a honeymoon show them proof so they can give you some cool extras! I have never been to any other hotels in Mexico but can say this one is great! Also recommend taking advantage of the different resort beaches you have access to as the one directly in front of El Dorado is a bit rocky but not the beach in front of the Palms section resort.

This was one of the best all inclusive I've been to for awhile. The service and hospitality was amazing. All of the staff were friendly, kind and most importantly respectful. I felt the sincerity of pure customer service throughout the resort. The food is tasty, with a wide variety of different restaurants. There are plenty of activities going on daily. The swim out pool room was a major attraction. I will definitely return here again one day.

The service and hospitality was fantastic, the quality of the hotel room was high, and the fixtures, appliances, and bathroom were all luxurious. The amenities, like the pools, all felt well built and each had their own respective bar and sitting areas. The only thing that was lacking in this hotel was the quality of the food that they serve. It wasn’t horrible, but it was all fairly cheap meats / cheeses etc. All-around this hotel was great. The staff is very friendly, the swim-up bar service is amazingly fun. There are tons of things to do in the grounds of the hotel - fire-shows, circus performers, DJ’s, volleyball, aerobics, and way more. They have services to leave the resort as well. Day trips like ATV riding, cave swimming, zip-lining etc. They take care of everything and make sure that you get back to the hotel safely once your trip is complete. We had a lot of fun. We will be coming back.

They were very helpful getting taxis, shuttles etc. carried the luggage, you feel like royalty. However, the room was nice but smelt “old” for lack of a better word. The balance between the AC temperature and the outside temperature is very difficult to perfect. If you turn the temp down in your room because you’re freezing, then the back door sweats and the condensation cause the whole room to sweat! The food was extremely underwhelming like another reviewer said. The menu looks appetizing but when it comes.. blah

Este resort é conhecido por 5 nomes diferentes, Sesimar, Hidden Beach, El Dorado Palms e El Dorado Seaside e Eldorado Suites !!! Muito confusão, e é citado como 5 estrelas, mas eu não daria mais do que 3 estrelas o pessoal que trabalha lá é muito útil, mas este lugar é muito antigo e precisa desesperadamente de renovação!

Só para esclarecer, o El Dorado Seaside Suites original agora se chama El Dorado Seaside Palms ou Sensimar Seaside Palms, e agora 70% dos quartos são reservados por meio da TUI, uma agência de viagens britânica, não da Karisma. O mais novo Seaside Suites está do outro lado de Hidden Beach, um resort naturalista. No entanto, todos os 3 resorts são administrados pela Karisma e os hóspedes se misturam para jantar e entretenimento, exceto que apenas os hóspedes da Hidden Beach podem entrar naquele complexo. Bebemos Kool Aid e nos tornamos membros do Karisma e agora somos o que eles chamam de membros do nível Emerald. Reservamos uma suíte júnior Sapphire de nível inferior e esperávamos um quarto melhor porque ou nossa associação melhor. This resort is known under 5 different names, the Sesimar, the Hidden Beach, El Dorado Palms and El Dorado Seaside and the Eldorado Suites !!! Very confusion, and its quoted as a 5 star but I would not give it more than 3 stars the personnel working there are very helpful but this place is very old and desperately needs renovating !

Just to clarify, the original El Dorado Seaside Suites is now called El Dorado Seaside Palms or Sensimar Seaside Palms, and now 70% of the rooms are booked through TUI, a British travel agent, not Karisma. The newer Seaside Suites is on the other side of Hidden Beach, a naturalist resort. However, all 3 resorts are managed by Karisma and guests intermingle for dining and entertainment, except only guests of Hidden Beach may enter that compound. We drank the Kool Aid and became members of Karisma and are now what they call Emerald level members. We booked a lower level Sapphire junior suite, and expected a better room because or our better membership. However, upon arrival we discovered the room faced the back wall of a restaurant and requested a better room, which was granted. The second room had a beautiful view of the gardens and ocean. However, this room after a few days developed plumbing issues where both sinks backed up and sewage poured out of the shower drain. Off to a 3rd room we went, which was ok, but had missing furniture. I asked for refund of a day's stay because of all the moving and inconvenience, but was only offered a 25 minute massage, which we did not use because of Covid issues. While on the subject of Karisma, we were asked to attend an "update" meeting and discovered yet again that the money we paid in was not well spent for they keep changing the rules. Karisma is building many new Nickelodeon and Margaritaville themed resorts and we were told originally that we would have access to any and all Karisma resorts. Now, however, they're breaking off these two themed resorts and if we wanted to have access to them we had to pay an additional $5000 USD, even though they are still under the Karisma banner and are booked on the Karisma portal. Bah Humbug!! On a more positive note, all the staff were wonderful, masked up, and reportedly vaccinated. The restaurants were generally very good with a great selection. Menus were via a Q reader, but hard copies were available if requested. Of course bars were plentiful. The beach area is only marginal, and half the resort had only a sandy area for chairs and no beach. All the pools were well maintained. The Palms, being adults only, was pleasant and peaceful, unlike the newer Suites which had boom boom boom music playing all day by the pool and beach area. Getting Covid tested the day before returning was efficient, but having the ability to download with a smartphone is helpful. Happy New Year!

Nós tivemos ótimas férias. Toda a equipe foi incrível e Arturo eo seu parceiro que infelizmente não me lembro o seu nome foram fantástico concierge certificando-se as nossas férias foi excelente e perfeito todos os dias. Nós estávamos lá através do clube de viajantes Prestige que somos membros. Realmente não posso dizer coisas boas o suficiente sobre todos os funcionários do resort, chefs, tripulação de limpeza do quarto, bartenders, garçons, mordomos de praia, os trabalhadores de fundações que trabalham tão arduamente para limpar a praia de algas. Um dia, esquecemos de bloquear o nosso cofre com um monte de objetos de valor ao ar livre, nada foi tocado. A comida gourmet foi incrível como foram as bebidas e os licores de quarto premium. Nós amei o vista para o mar e se a festa na piscina e o mexicano noite temática. A entrega da manhã de bolos, frutas e café foi uma maneira tão deliciosa para começar o dia no convés assistindo o nascer do sol do oceano. O hotel tinha diversão toda a viagem e foi sempre algo para fazer, não há necessidade de sair do resort. A praia foi fantástica eo mergulho no resort foi ótimo especialmente uma vez que encontramos a melhor parte do recife. Certamente voltarei novamente. Nós um grupo de 8 e todos sentida como que uma incrível e férias relaxantes. Realmente ansioso para voltar.

Grande feriado na parte da "aldeia" do resort em vez de a parte do hotel alto. A equipe cordial e sempre proporcionando bom atendimento ao cliente. Sem glúten também previsto. Chefs dando conselhos sobre opções quando solicitado. Muitos restaurantes para escolher também. A noite mexicana com a banda Mariachi é altamente recomendada.

Adultos incríveis apenas resort na selva mexicana. Coisas é incrível e comida deliciosa! Quarto são ilusórios e com jacuzzi no interior, cada um com varanda ou terraço. Seleção de coquetéis e álcoois importados é impressionante. Vinhos locais e prosecco são muito bons. Altamente recomendar aquático com acesso aos bares da piscina.

Lindo hotel localizado na Riviera Maya México. Um hotel de 4 diamantes para adultos que oferece serviços de comida gourmet muito bem servidos. As bebidas alcoólicas oferecidas são de marcas muito boas e, se não têm algo, podem fazê-lo ou oferecer algo semelhante em qualidade. Os quartos estão sempre bem organizados e super limpo, mais você incluiu o serviço de servibar. Adicionado a tudo isso o tempo todo você tem serviço de concierge em todo o hotel. Os restaurantes para jantares especiais são requintados eu recomendo asiática e italiana. Para o café da manhã há restaurantes buffet ou à la carte de acordo com o seu gosto. Definitivamente um lugar romântico para vir passar férias ou lua de mel.

Super localização, muito idílica entre as palmeiras da praia. O serviço e a comida são sublimes! Todo mundo sai de seu caminho para se divertir. O spa é adorável, mas no lado caro, mas você obtém um bom valor para o seu dinheiro. Muito recomendado.Além disso, o hotel é antigo, mas muito limpo. Eles estão trabalhando em uma reforma. Os jardins também são lindos e está tudo super cuidado. Não há uma folha no caminho.A comida nos vários restaurantes é muito boa e há muitas opções. Não tem algas na praia, aqui eles fizeram uma espécie de dique com bóias no mar e também tiram algas do mar toda semana. O lado ruim da praia é que tem poucos leitos, então você tem que sair às 07:00 para largar a toalha, caso contrário você não terá mais cama. Myself and my wife went to Sensimar Seaside Suites for our honeymoon, and the place did not disappoint us. Everything about the resort was perfect, we were particularly impressed with the food, my wife is gluten intolerant and this venue truelly was the best we have ever been to in the Caribbean. Every restaurant asked if we had food allergies before entering, we were then always escorted around by the head chef being informed about every item if it was safe to eat. truly amazing and really refreshing to see at an all inclusive. Not only the food was superb but the general care and attentiveness of the staff was outstanding, everyone seemed to care. I also was incredibly impressed by the beauty of the resort and the beautiful marine life just off the beach, the efforts made by management to keep a good quality environment which focuses on being environmentally friendly which we truly appreciated and respected. We will deffinetly be going back.

The resort is great for a relaxing holiday. The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff are friendly. There are plenty of choice for places to eat. The beach is lovely and the sea shallow with lots of fish to see. The downside is the shortage of sun loungers and a lot of them are broken. Also, when we booked, we were given resort credit to spend. I think that is a con. Try spending it without it still costing you another $100. We booked a premier suite, it was fine, but dated.

Amazing experience and service. Absolutely faultless. If you're thinking of booking just do it. You can't be disappointed. I would love to go back.

Day 4 of day 7 so far and this place is truly worth the money. The finest gourmet meals and the friendliest staff. They truly aim to please. Trip is now over and it was a wonderful place. Make sue you remember that not all guests are good people, watch your belongings

Bonito lugar variedad de restaurantes las playa no son profunda, tiene actividades como música en vivo y bailes, hay que tener cuidado con los árboles de cocos por qué por la intensidad del viento tienden a caer y son algo peligrosas, cuenta con piscinas y baños en casa rincón, un área para yoga y los concierge están bien ubicados bastantes camas beli, solo hay que levantarse muy temprano por qué se apartan todas y tarde ya no encuentras

We had a great vacation.All the staff was amazing and Arturo and his partner who unfortunately I can't remember his name were fantastic concierge making sure our vacation was great and perfect everyday.We were there through Prestige travelers club that we are members.Can't really say enough good things about all the resort staff, chefs, room cleaning crew, bartenders, waiters, beach butlers, grounds workers who work so hard to clear the beach of seaweed.One day we forgot to lock our room safe with a lot of valuables in the open, nothing was touched.The gourmet food was incredible as were the drinks and the premium room liquors.We loved the ocean views and we enjoyed the pool party and the Mexican themed night.The morning delivery of pastries, fruits and coffee was such a delicious way to start the day on the deck watching the ocean sunrise. We had fun the entire trip and there was always something to do, no need to leave the resort.The beach was fantastic and the snorkeling at the resort was great especially once we found the best part of the reef.Will definitely return again.We were a group of 8 and everyone felt like they had an amazing and relaxing holiday.Really looking forward to returning.

Great holiday in the 'village' part of the resort rather than the high rise hotel part. Staff very friendly and always providing good customer service. Gluten-free also provided for. Chefs giving advice about options when asked. Plenty of restaurants to choose from too. The Mexican evening with the Mariachi band is highly recommended.

What a lovely place, made even better by being adult only, so a nice relaxing child free stay. Amazingly clean and the staff are absolutely delightful and can't do enough for you.

Hermoso hotel ubicado en la Riviera Maya México. Un hotel de 4 diamantes para adultos y que te ofrece servicios de alimentos tipo gourmet muy bien servidos. Las bebidas alcohólicasofrecidas son de muy buenas marcas y sino tienen algo hacen lo posible por conseguirtelo u ofrecer algo similar de calidad. Los cuartos están siempre bien arreglados y super limpios además que tienes incluido el servicio de servibar. Aunado a todo esto todo el tiempo tienes servicio de consierge en todo el hotel. Los restaurantes para las cenas de especialidades son exquisitos recomiendo el asiático y el italiano. Para desayunos hay restaurantes de tipo buffet o a la carta según tu gusto.Definitivamente un lugar romantico para venir a pasar vacaciones o luna de miel.

We chose Sensimar Seaside Suites by Karisma as our ideal location for our wedding. We couldn't be happier! This, in large part, is due to the amazing service and treatment we received while dealing with the on-site wedding planners. While we worked with both Mayra and Delia regarding the day of the event, it was Delia that really took everything a step beyond our expectations. She made herself available whenever we needed her and gave us space at exactly the right times. I could talk about her for days and it still wouldn't do her justice. All I can say is she is amazing. Other favorite people of mine are Ula, our personal concierge, who made a point to wave and stop to say hello to us as well as all of our friends and family present for the ceremony; Mr. Grapes (Señor Ubilio) who was the bartender at our swim-up bar and never balked at the number of drinks we requested sir to our large party; and Nayarit, who not only did my manicure and pedicure but my hair and make-up for my rehearsal and day-of ceremony. Their spa is amazing. The staff all over the resort are extremely outgoing, friendly, and always willing to help however they can. The resort is small and beautiful. It is paradise. We absolutely intend to return! Best food (in my humble opinion) was at Mia Casa (on the El Dorado side), Cullinarium, and La Carreta! Try everything!!

The El Dorado Seaside Suites truly outdo themselves on a daily basis. They have something for everyone to do, regardless of what you are into--food, entertainment, water sports, lounging, romance, drinks--you name it; they have it. The service is impeccable, I will return on a yearly basis. I recommend this for couples and group of friends.

Amazing adults only resort in the Mexican jungle. Stuff is incredible and food delicious! Room are specious and with jacuzzi inside, each with balcony or terrace. Selection of coctails and imported alcohols is impressive. Local wines and prosecco are very good. Highly recommend swim up rooms with access to the pool bars.
