With three pools spa services multiple restaurants and a complimentary breakfast buffet the Madeira Regency Palace provides appealing amenities amidst tropical grounds with lakes and waterfalls. The 11-story hotel has 210 air-conditioned rooms that open to private balconies. Each room has satellite TV a minibar a safe a coffeemaker and a mini-fridge. Internet access is available for an additional fee. Take advantage of the spa with its Turkish bath and sauna; available therapies include facials massages and body treatments. “The rooms and interiors are below my expectations. The rooms are hard to reach and separated. We booked two rooms, but they were at the opposite ends. The architecture of the building was disappointing.
The live events were fun. The swimming pool is average.
There were very limited vegetarian options in the buffet, basically no gravy dish in lunch and dinner. The drinks were low on alcohol content.
The bed is nice, no complaints.
The hotel is reachable via Airport bus.”
