A falta de comunicação da equipe de check-in tornou-se meu problema quando eles não informaram aos hóspedes que a limpeza comum (você sabe, o tipo de serviço que até motéis de 1 estrela em Newark fornecem diariamente) deve ser solicitada com antecedência. Espero que gostem de ficar em um quarto sujo com camas de solteiro na segunda noite!

Tivemos uma quadra de casamento no Marriott para nosso casamento no fim de semana de 22 de julho. Como parte do bloco de casamento, eles ofereceram transporte gratuito de e para o local para nós e todos os nossos convidados. No caminho para o local, todos os nossos convidados foram recebidos com unidades de transporte extremamente rudes, bem como um ônibus sem ar condicionado em um dia de 100 graus. Na viagem de volta, o fornecedor que o Marriott contratou para nós, eles enviaram menos vans do que dirigiram para o local, exigindo que alguns de nossos convidados se sentassem no chão. Em cima dos ônibus inferiores, os motoristas não esperaram pelos noivos nos deixando presos no local. Tivemos que esperar mais 30 minutos para eles enviarem outro ônibus que estava marcado para outro casamento. Uma vez que voltamos, o gerente noturno foi extremamente rude e nos disse que não era problema deles, pois era um fornecedor e não um funcionário do Marriott. Se você contratar um fornecedor em nome do seu pacote, eles são uma representação do seu hotel e fiquei muito decepcionado com a forma como eles trataram a mim e aos meus hóspedes.Além dos problemas de transporte, muitos de nossos convidados tiveram problemas com reservas canceladas no dia do casamento e a equipe teve problemas para acompanhar quem estava reservado.Fora dos quartos que eram limpos, era uma experiência abaixo da média para um bloco de casamentos e recomendaria qualquer pessoa se casar nessa área para conferir as outras opções na área. O Hilton fica do outro lado da rua e tenho certeza de que eles fariam um trabalho melhor, pois o bar é tão baixo que, a menos que o ônibus atropele um hóspede no estacionamento, você tenha uma experiência melhor. Também iremos recomendar o Rockleigh para mudar o hotel preferido para futuros clientes.

Minha esposa e eu fomos ao restaurante localizado no hotel e tivemos uma experiência muito agradável! Minha esposa é celíaca e, portanto, tem restrições alimentares bastante severas. O anfitrião que estava lá na época, Kenny, foi muito compreensivo com sua situação e confirmou com a cozinha que eles conseguiram acomodar as substituições que ela exigiria. A única razão pela qual estou dando 2 estrelas é porque não foi o pior lugar que já fiquei. Quarto era um pouco limpo e decente o suficiente para passar a noite. No entanto, a recepção precisa de ajuda. Fomos recebidos com "ela vai ajudá-lo." Em segundos, um grupo de meninas adolescentes pulou na nossa frente e o outro funcionário nos levou hesitante. Ela não tinha nenhum treinamento em hospitalidade. Quando perguntei se havia serviço de quarto, disseram-me sem rodeios "não" sem informações adicionais sobre o hotel, o restaurante ou o bar no local. Havia sinais claros de silêncio às 22h, mas eles permitiram que um monte de garotas pré-adolescentes fizessem muito barulho até quase meia-noite. Depois de uma noite de sono terrível, vamos fazer o check-out. O recepcionista nos cumprimentou, nos colocou ao lado e fez o check-in de alguém atrás de nós e deu a ela 2 garrafas de água. Quando ela finalmente nos ajudou, me disseram que você tem um saldo zero e tenha um bom dia. Não me perguntaram se gostei da estadia nem sobre o café da manhã. Nem perguntou se eu queria uma cópia do recibo! Parece que vou ter que encontrar outro lugar para ficar quando visitar minha família. Decepção total.

We had a wedding block at the Marriott for our wedding the weekend of July 22nd.As part of the wedding block they offered free transportation to and from the venue for us and all of our guests.On the way to the venue all of our guests were met with extremely rude shuttle drives as well as one bus with no AC on a 100 degree day.On the return trip the vendor the Marriott contracted for us they sent less vans than they drove to the venue requiring some of our guests to sit on the floor.On top of the lower shuttles, the drivers didn’t wait for the bride and the groom leaving us stranded at the venue.We had to wait for an additional 30 minutes for them to send another bus that was labeled for another wedding.Once we got back the night manager was extremely rude and told us its not their problem since it was a vendor not a Marriott employee.If you hire a vendor on behalf of your package then they are a representation of your hotel and I was beyond disappointed with how they treated me and my guests.On top of transportation issues, many of our guests had issues with reservations being canceled day of the wedding and the staff had issues keeping track of who was booked.Outside of the rooms that were clean it was a sub par experience for a wedding block and would recommend anyone getting married in that area to check out the other options in the area.The Hilton is right across the street and I’m sure they would do a better job as the bar is so low that short of the shuttle running a guest over in the parking lot you will have a better experience.We will also be recommending the Rockleigh to change preferred hotel for future customers.

Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. A lack of communication from check in staff became my problem when they didn't inform guests that ordinary housekeeping (you know, the kind of service that even 1-star motels in Newark been provide daily) must be requested in advance. Hope ya'll like staying in a dirty room with unmaid beds the second night!

My wife and I went to the restaurant located in the hotel and had a VERY pleasant experience! My wife has celiac and thus, has fairly severe dietary restrictions. The host that was there at the time, Kenny, was very understanding of her situation and confirmed with the kitchen that they were able to accommodate the substitutions that she would require. He was also very reassuring that none of my wife's food would come in contact with gluten during cooking/plating. We had a lovely time dining here and, just like Kenny told us, my wife didn't get sick! Thank you so much, Kenny!!

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because it was not the worst place I have stayed. Room was somewhat clean and decent enough to spend the night. However the front desk needs help. We were greeted with "she will help you. " with in seconds a group of teen girls jumped in front of us and the other employee took us hesitantly. She lacked any hospitality training. When I asked if there was room service I was bluntly told "no" without additional information regarding the hotel, the restaurant or the bar on-site. As we entered the room, we immediately went to set up the pull out couch for our 10 year old son. Unfortunately there weren't any sheets or blankets available. I called the front desk and was told no problem, someone will be up shortly. No one showed up so my son slept with us. We also didn't have any bottled water! There were clear signs posted of quiet time at 10pm yet they allowed a bunch of preteen girls cause a ton of noise until almost midnight. After a terrible night sleep, we go to check out. The front desk clerk greeted us, put us to the side and checked in someone behind us and gave her 2 bottles of water. When she finally helped us, I was told you have a zero balance & have a nice day. I was not asked if I enjoyed our stay nor about the breakfast. Not even asked if I wanted a copy of the receipt! Looks like I will have to find another place to stay when visiting my family. Total disappointment.

Eles têm um restaurante, mas eu ainda não o vi aberto desde que estive aqui. Eles servem café da manhã, acho que é separado do restaurante, mas me parece um pouco caro, considerando que não é barato ficar aqui. Não está perto de realmente nada. Não é um lugar ruim, mas eu esperaria mais algumas comodidades pelo preço que os lugares mais baratos oferecem. Tem algumas belas paisagens.

It’s clean and quiet. They do not have USB ports for charging your phone. The TV is situated on the right side of the room which is a painful angle for your neck. Seems like they tried to cram too much into the room. They could have taken out the couch, the room is a bit small for it, and set up the dresser and TV in that area. This way you’re not straining your neck to watch TV. The refrigerator is also next to the couch, like an end table. It’s a very odd place for it. Every single hotel I’ve been at over the last year includes water bottles, especially for the coffee machine, they do not. There is a broken window in one of the hallways too. Check in was pretty easy. They have a restaurant but I haven’t seen it open yet since I’ve been here. They serve breakfast, I think that’s separate from the restaurant, but seems a little pricey to me considering it’s not cheap to stay here. It’s not close to really anything. It’s not a bad place but I’d expect a few more amenities for the price that cheaper places offer. It has some pretty scenery.

Esta localização em particular foi sugerida pela minha irmã que anteriormente participou de um banquete que foi realizado neste hotel. Minha experiência de check-in foi desconfortável devido a um problema de financiamento. A jovem da recepção me avisou que o depósito de segurança só seria aceito no meu cartão e não em dinheiro. Minha experiência em outros hotéis foi diferente. O depósito era opcional, cartão ou dinheiro. Ela nem sequer tentou ver se alguma exceção poderia ser feita. Ela deu um longo olhar entre mim e o computador e colocou meu cartão e identidade no balcão. Uma vez que a situação foi finalmente resolvida e chegamos ao quarto, era normal. $ 546,00 deve ter sido para a localização do hotel. (1) Havia grãos de café e batatas fritas nacho no nosso andar sob uma de nossas camas de uma estadia anterior. (2) No pátio metade do pátio foi inundado com água e alguns botões de cigarro para que só pudéssemos ficar em um lado do pátio. (3) Estava muito úmido em nosso quarto. O ar central não era muito central. Havia apenas uma abertura que produzia ar de qualidade quando queria, apesar de estar no grau mais baixo permitido, que era de 65 graus. (4) Sua TV inteligente operava com atrasos. Felizmente eu trouxe meu sistema de jogo conosco para podermos desfrutar da televisão em uma velocidade normal. (5) Perguntei a um dos donos da casa se precisávamos ser limpos do quarto para que fosse atendido, mas ela fingiu não falar inglês enquanto me dizia em inglês que ela não fala inglês ... lol (6) Esta última declaração sobre as regras de toda a estadia e lamento informar isso, mas nenhum de nós estava confortável neste hotel. E sim, estou falando sobre racismo. Minha sobrinha e filha elogiaram duas meninas caucasianas por seus vestidos e elas foram completamente ignoradas. - Eu estava na piscina com minhas duas filhas. Estávamos jogando Marco polo na piscina e enquanto ríamos nos divertindo... todo mundo estava olhando para nós como se tivéssemos feito algo errado. - Decidimos também dar uma volta pelas instalações e os olhares que experimentamos eram tão vulgares. Isso nos fez sentir como se não pertencêssemos lá, o que é tão decepcionante porque gastei a mesma quantia de dinheiro que eles gastaram para desfrutar de um fim de semana lá e nem estávamos confortáveis. Em conclusão, a experiência total foi extremamente decepcionante. Sim, a localização em si é linda. Adoramos a natureza, mas o hotel real, desde a equipe até os hóspedes, nos fez sentir muito indesejados. É nojento até mesmo digerir o pensamento de que o racismo ainda existe depois de tantos séculos. Nós realmente nos sentimos deslocados durante toda a estadia e eu mal podia esperar para ir para casa. Eu só posso ser grato que minha filha de 8 anos é muito jovem para entender o ambiente em que ela estava cercada, então ela não sofreu emocionalmente ou mentalmente com essa experiência. Só nessa nota MISSON CUMPRIDO porque a estadia foi para ela e seu aniversário. Mas quanto a mim e aos meus outros filhos que têm idade suficiente para entender o que aconteceu, foi uma experiência que mudou muito a vida e eu nunca vou permitir que eles passem por isso novamente. Nunca. Eu não classificaria este hotel com uma estrela. E eu definitivamente não faria meu casamento aqui, já que foi uma conversa anterior à minha experiência do ponto de vista visual.

As a parent you go above and beyond for your children. As a gift for my daughter's 8th birthday I wanted to surprise her with a weekend getaway at a luxurious hotel with a pool. This location in particular was suggested by my sister who previously attended a banquet that was held at this hotel. My check in experience was uneasy due to a funding issue. The young lady at the desk advised me that the security deposit would only be accepted my card not cash. My experience at other hotels were different. The deposit was optional, card or cash. She didn't even try to see if any exceptions could be made. She gave a long stare between myself and the computer and sat my card and I.D on the counter. Once that situation was finally handled and we got to the room, it was ordinary. $546.00 must have been for the location of the hotel. (1) There were coffee beans and nacho chips on our floor under one of our beds from a previous stay. (2) On the patio half of the patio was flooded with water and a few cigarette buds so we could only stand on one side of the patio. (3) It was very humid in our room. The central air was not very central. There was only one vent that produced quality air when it wanted to dispite being at the lowest degree allowed which was 65 degrees. (4) Their smart TV operatored with delays. Luckily I brought my game system with us in order for us to enjoy the television at a normal speed. (5) I asked one of the house keepers if we needed to be cleared from the room in order for it to be serviced but she pretended not to speak English while telling me in English that she doesn't speak english...lol (6) This last statement over rules the entire stay and I'm saddened to even report this but not one of us were comfortable at this hotel. And yes I'm speaking on racism. My niece and daughter gave two Caucasian girls a compliment on their dresses and they were completely ignored. - I was in the pool with my two daughters. We were playing Marco polo in the pool and while we were laughing having fun...everyone was staring at us like we did something wrong. - We also decided to take a walk around the premises and the stares we experienced were so vulgar. It made us feel like we didn't belong there which is so disappointing bc I spent the same amount of money as they spent to enjoy a weekend there and we weren't even comfortable. In conclusion the total experience was extremely disappointing. Yes the location itself is beautiful. We love nature but the actual hotel, from the staff to the guests made us feel very unwelcomed. It's disgusting to even digest the thought that racism still exists after so many centuries. We really felt out of place the entire stay and I couldn't wait to go home. I can only be grateful that my 8 year old is too young to understand the environment she was surrounded by so she didn't suffer emotionally or mentally from this experience. On that note alone MISSON ACCOMPLISHED bc the stay was for her and her birthday. But as for myself and the my other children who are old enough to understand what happened it was a very life altering experience and I will never allow them to go through that again. Never. I wouldn't even rate this hotel a one star. And I definitely wouldn't have my wedding here, since that was a conversation prior to my experience from a visual standpoint.

O serviço ao cliente parecia ser curto e rude limítrofe ... não o serviço ao cliente habitual que você esperaria da indústria de hospitalidade mesmo de um hotel de 3 estrelas que este é classificado. Os quartos foram bem decorados, mas não os mais limpos. As portas do chuveiro ainda tinham gotas de sabão e manchas de água todos os cantos precisam ser limpos. As aberturas estavam cheias de poeira. As camas eram irregulares. Sem água, café/chá ou café da manhã de cortesia e café da manhã padrão gratuito APENAS para membros do Titanium Marriott. Sem acesso a computadores, a menos que você passe um cartão de crédito.

2.5 - 3 stars I had rented 3 rooms for my family. We did not use the pool or gym so I cannot comment on those areas. The grounds and location are beautiful. The customer service appeared to be short and borderline rude...not the usual customer service you would expect from hospitality industry even from a 3 star hotel which this one is rated. The rooms were nicely decorated but not the cleanest. The shower doors still had soap drips and water spots all the corners need to be cleaned. The vents were filled with dust. The beds were lumpy. No complimentary water, coffee/tea or breakfast and free standard breakfast ONLY for Titanium Marriott members. No access to computers unless you swipe a credit card.

Beautiful property. Inside seemed to be well taken care of. We came for an event and had a great time. A few downsides were that the bathrooms were on the other side of the hotel from where the event room was. On my walk I noticed they served a buffet breakfast for $24 per person. That’s insanely high.
