“The stay was nice, the pool staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, until there was no hot water in the rooms. The hotel knew of this issue, did not tell the guests (even with their text message system), and when I called front desk she said it was an issue with a vendor and no ETA on the fix. She could not care less. Her manager offered two solutions (to pack up my entire family and move to the other tower?! or take my toddler at bedtime to shower at the spa at the other tower?!) that did not work for me and said he’d call back when it was fixed. He also said they were notifying guests by putting a letter under their doors (of all rooms in their main tower… sure…).
I did not receive the aforementioned letter or phone call. I did receive a small credit to my resort fee at check out the next morning after I said they provided BS next steps. I can’t believe a hotel of that size doesn’t have any action plan or compensation plan for a major issue like NO HOT WATER.
Hope they don’t reply to thank me for the review to help them grow/improve rather spend the time being more proactive with their guests instead.”
