“We checked in to Room 216 at this Marriott on Friday the 17th, early evening. It was around 10:00 pm. My daughter was lying down on her bed when she noticed something crawling on her pillow. She immediately jumped up. We saw a larger bed bug and a smaller baby bed bug. We were appalled, to say the least. We took pictures of the bug and called the front desk, reporting what we saw in our bed. The attendant at the front desk was not any all apologetic. We asked for a refund and the attendant was not willing to assist us and her only response was that she was unable to do so amd that it's up to us if we wanted to be given another room or leave. If we left to another hotel, she informed us that we would not be guaranteed a refund even though we had taken pictures of the bed bugs and had video evidence of the bugs. At 1100 pm at night, we checked out and went to a different hotel with absolutely no guarantee from the hotel or corporate Marriott that we would obtain a refund. Needless to say, it was a terrible and unsettling experience. We are very disappointed with the service received from both the local Marriott as well as Corporate Marriott.”

“While looking at reviews from 4-5 months ago, I figured they should have things corrected by now. Well I was wrong. The first room, the closet door was no longer attached to the track. There was mold growing inside the fridge, and the bathroom wall paper was coming off the wall in the bathroom. In the second room after being moved due the issues in the First, the closet door is attached but barely, the bathroom ceiling is peeling and the light above the sink is bent. The front desk staff is very friendly and an excellent face for the hotel and brand. The lobby is clean and kept. But that is the extent of the good things this hotel has. Marriott should be ashamed that their name and flag is flying here. I would put the quality of these rooms to that of a super 8 or Days inn, and not a Marriott brand. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. I would avoid this place as it is Not to Marriott's standards.”
